自己紹介 / Biography

ジャワの影絵芝居ワヤン?クリの主題がインドの神話に起源をもつということを知って以来、インドネシアの伝統的文化とその形成期である古代史に興味を持ち続けてきました。ヒンドゥー教や仏教の影響が強かった時代に関心がありますが、最近はイスラームにも視野を広げようとしています。地域を越えた文明の伝播と、地域の文化との間におこるダイナミックな価値観のせめぎ合いは、いつの時代にも見られる現象であるとの感を強くしています。
